Also, it is a complete myth that baby snake's venom is more potent than adult snakes. Where this myth came from is the fact that baby snakes release ALL their venom when they bite, while adult snakes will only release a portion. The thing is, let's say a baby rattler can hold 30 ml of poison . . . well, an adult can hold 300 ml. If a baby rattler bites you, you will be pumped full of that 30 ml, but if an adult bites, you can be injected with anything from 10 ml to 200 ml. The potency of the venom remains the same regardless of age, it's just the amount you're being injected with that should worry you.
