None of ours have the yellow spot on their head. Is it a regional things kind of like the different varieties of kind snakes? I love my garter snakes....we have a large mother who has a ton of babies every year we play with.

This isn't necessarily true. The hognose snakes have triangular shaped heads and make themselves look like puff adders, but they aren't harmful. There are also plenty of other types of snakes with the ability to flatten their heads to look venomous, as a defense mechanism.
Also, it is a complete myth that baby snake's venom is more potent than adult snakes. Where this myth came from is the fact that baby snakes release ALL their venom when they bite, while adult snakes will only release a portion. The thing is, let's say a baby rattler can hold 30 ml of poison . . . well, an adult can hold 300 ml. If a baby rattler bites you, you will be pumped full of that 30 ml, but if an adult bites, you can be injected with anything from 10 ml to 200 ml. The potency of the venom remains the same regardless of age, it's just the amount you're being injected with that should worry you.

Ok i was close enough on my garden snake..the real name is garter..however i see them in my garden so i call the garden snakes..see them along with the ringneck snakes also hanging around the gardens.. LOL

Well, it could be a ribbon snake, but I can't see the eyes very well in that picture to see if there are white spots in front of the eyes:

That picture, it has a small yellow spot right before the striping begins.

Either way, it's not harmful and they eat small amphibians and inscects.

"m in Va so I'm not up on your local types of snakes but I do know that, if in the US, it's striped, it's generally some type of garter snake/ ribbon snake/ etc. They eat amphibians, worms, insects, etc. I know of no snake in the US that is harmful to humans that is striped. There are few other types of snakes here that are harmful to anything other than small prey anyways. Please don't kill them if you're so inclined; they have a hard enough time as it is.
