Yeah, probably just an air sac. Just keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't act sick. Otherwise he should be fine. And yes, they are LOUD!

How long will it take for the air pocket to go down, he is swollen more than earlier, but he is still moving around. He looks miserable

Possibly a vitamin K deficiency. Vitamin K aids in blood clotting, no blood clotting means that the blood just keeps flowing. Small capillaries rupture naturally inside the body. This isn't a problem when the animal has sufficient vitamin K. That's kinda rare though, but it's the only thing I can think of. And the fact that it's blue makes it more likely. Don't know...

he is still moving around this morning. I will get some vitamin K today and see if that helps. He is just so bloated.

I was wondering how your turkey was doing? I have a chick with what may be a similar problem and I have no idea what to do for her.
Your post was the only one that came even close to describing what is going on with my cochin.

he is still moving around, eating and drinking. I did take a syringe needle and let off some of the pressure. No syringe on the end, that way the air could move through the needle, still keeping a close eye on him.
