okay so we hatched 11 turkeys a few days ago, some red, some black, but two of the red ones have bad left legs, one walks around with its left leg extended outwards, it looks like it's skating and cant pull it back in, so it cant get to its food and water very well, we will call this T1.
the second turkey (T2) can walk most of the time, but sometimes i feel like its top heavy so it roles over, always going left and ends up on its back and cant get back up without my help. what are y'all s thoughts on amputation? or just on the whole thing? please reply ASAP.

Thanks!

Sounds like T1 may have splayed legs. If caught early, you can fashion some tape to hold the legs in the proper orientation. T2... that one I don't know about. It does seem like perhaps incubation parameters may need some adjustment if a good number of your hatchlings have leg problems. If these were my birds, as my birds are treated as livestock, I'd not invest too much time prior to their dispatch. Good luck!

thank you so much for T1, i guess ima keep a close eye on T2 she seems fine in every other way maybe she will grow out of it. i only have two with a problem.
