So I have 3 baby chicks that are close to 2 weeks old. A gold sex link pullet, I guess what they call an "easter egger", and a black sex link, not sure of sex yet. The little Easter egger has been having loose stools and Im not sure what to do. I have had to wipe her behind twice in the past week, so not really too bad, but they do seem to be rather frequent as well as runny. She is showing no other signs of illness. She is eating and drinking fine and hopping around peeping with the other two. She is actually feathering out first, with half her wings and tail feathers already out. She is not droopy or lethargic, no eye discharge, other two chicks are showing no signs of anything, and she has not been huddling or anything to suggest she doesn't feel well. They are inside right now so I doubt they could have gotten into anything poisonous. She scared me to death last night when I peeked in at them while sleeping, because she was laying on her side with her legs out, so I was sure she was dead. I rushed in and she popped right up and started hopping around peeping with the others. That is the one and only time in a week I've seen her sleep that way. Opinions?
