How much space do these little guys need? My daugher wants a goat so badly, but a goat would be too hard on all our shrubs. We only have an acre, it is grass (not well kept, but still a lawn opposed to a pasture) and while I haven't told her this I was thinking a sheep wouldn't be a bad choice, if only they were smaller and didn't need much room!

I have some St. Croix/Katahdin cross sheep that would probably qualify as minis...they are much smaller than my sisters woolly breeds. The good thing about them? No shearing!

They are the funniest and most easy to care for livestock on my place. Never get tired of watching them and they don't smell like the woolly breeds... they smell more like horses. They don't drink much and don't eat much hay...I really like these sheeples!
