the evening of the 13th,my 1st ever quail eggs hatched,well to cut a long story short i was very happy with the 17 that hatched as id had a big temp drop on day 14 to 36c for at least 8 hourswell today at lunch time i switched off the incubator and thought id clean it out tomorrow,,there were still 8 eggs left but i thought the hatch had finished,
well 4 hours later im sitting on the floor trying to put handcuffs on 2 babys with spraddle legs and i can hear peeping ,the 1st thing i thought was oh no ones escaped somehow,so im crawling round my bedroom floor looking for this peeping and then realise its comming from the bater,1 was hatching with no heat at all,so i switched it straight back on ,just checked again and now theres 3 more out,so my question is ,how long after the last 1 hatched should i leave the bator onfor as ive had a 36 hour gap between hatches that were all layed down on the same day,,
