Hello,
I took a hen with diarrhea to the vet yesterday as she was withdrawn and had watery poops.
She did a gram stain and said she has bacterial enteritis.
She gave me sulfatrim for this hen, it has a length withdrawal period , but I don’t mind because this particular hen only lays once or twice a year.
Now today I have a second hen exhibiting similar posturing and lethargy , but still has solid poops.
I put probiotics in their water , but wondering if I should order bacitracin and hit the whole flock before they all go down like dominos and I’m throwing away all their eggs for the foreseeable future !
Please help me
