Hello! Welcome back to BYC!! Congratulations on getting chickens again. I always stress when those poor buggers are in the mail. At least you've got everything you need from your previous chicken adventures!

I wish! My last “flock” was 3 hens...we ordered 15! My original coop was built for 7...I have another smaller coop that ca hold 2-3.... Chicken math hit me HARD this year, but I blame the cost of shipping...I could pay $100 and get 10...or get 15 for $75! Currently sketching out a new brooder, thinking 3 totes with access holes will be big enough.

How are we going to be able to wait for 2 whole months!

By building a brooder big enough to hold 15 (I’m thinking of putting them in the garage this time around) and then rebuilding the side wall of my run where my last girls “dug out” and moving my coop to pour concrete footers (the girls also dug out under the footers for the coop...silly chickens).
