The Black Swede died of unknown causes - but im thinking it had to do with her egg production as I found her trying to lay - only the vent was dry as sand.
The Cayuga is doing great! She gave me a chocolate baby who I named catfish !! lol, she was attacked by a dog though but has fully recovered and now gives me an egg a day.
The Magpie is doing awesome! Although she did try to brood 18 eggs. The last week of their incubation I had a snake problem and all but one was eaten
But she still gives me jumbo eggs. Now if only I could find a drake for my flock *sigh*
Yall wouldnt know where I could find a drake for sale around here would ya???
