Back in the game!

I started my first flock in 2010 but my arthritic knees got so bad I couldn't handle the work that goes into properly raising chickens so I had to give it up for a while! Now at 66 years old and with successfull double knee replacement I'm ready to start a brand new flock! My wife and I live in a 200 year old homestead with 8 acres here in Maine and live a simple life in the country with our many cats,guineas and soon to be chickens! Backyard chickens is a great source of info and sharing of info for the modern homesteader like me!!!
