Back in the woodshop

I've been MIA during the summer, gardening and such. We've had a couple cool days and that always reminds me that I have a woodshop out there. This is the first project of the season, a rooster cut out of walnut wood. Makes a great little clock!

Very nice, what did you use for a finish?

just a spray laquer. no stain. I usually don't stain wood unless somebody wants me to.
