I was active here a few years ago, and now I am back again. I have 15 assorted chicks from the local farm and garden supply. I have frizzles, blue bells, dominiques, buff orpingtons, black australorp, turken, crested polish, wyandottes, buckeyes, white and a few others. Great fun. I'm contemplating 2 tractors to move them around in, about 8 per unit. Any good, durable plan ideas out there? We live almost on the TN/KY state line, so summers are hot and humid and winters are damp and chill but not brutal like in the Upper Midwest or the Dakotas. I'm an amateur radio operator since 1991, really fun hobby too. I am an avid beekeeper and have 10 strong colonies of Italian/Russian/Carniolan hybrids. Very hygienic and disease resistant, I don't use chemicals on my bees, I breed bees for attributes that help them manage life without chemical interventions. I like to grow my own food without chemical interventions also. I have been a motorcyclist since 1982 and have not been without a moto for almost the entire span of years (only minus 3 years that I was living in Europe).
