Back of chickens head torn open

I gave her crumbles. Should I try stuffing it in her beak yet, or wait to see if she'll peck at it with the added ingredients?
I wouldn’t try stuffing anything in her beak. Wet her crumbles into a mash. Give her some time to investigate the mash with added egg and/or chicken. Remember she is in a strange place the past few days away from her flock and probably in a lot of pain, it wouldn’t be abnormal to not have much of an appetite. Another idea is to take her near her flock for a short, supervised visit and try to feed her there. I’ve heard of chickens having much improved appetite after visiting with their flock. But if you choose to try this, don’t leave her out there unattended. You’ll have to watch that she doesn’t get attacked by others and that no flies land on her injury.

Is her injury showing any signs of infection?

It looks good so far. I could try bringing one of the chicks that she grew up with inside for a visit.

She still doesn't have much of an appetite, and she's starting to get really skinny. She ate a few bites when I put some food in a cup for her, but didn't seem to be interested otherwise. I'm worried about her getting too skinny if she keeps this up.

To try and tempt her into eating, you could try some easy-to-eat things, like plain yogurt, scrambled eggs, or chicken feed + water. You could also try a little bit of a high-value treat like mealworms to give her some extra motivation.

i had a hen survive this same injury from a bully rooster twice. Keep up the good work she'll make it. Will she eat scramble egg... that seemed to be the trick for me.

I tried wet chicken food. I haven't given her any canned chicken or scrambled eggs yet. I've been keeping her inside with a buddy while she heals. I let her run around the house while I'm home.

Definitely try scrambled eggs, raw egg, canned tuna, canned chicken, yogurt, fruit..there honestly isn’t a ton I wouldn’t be opposed to trying in your position. Anything to get her to eat. Like @swamphiker said, higher-value treats like meal worms are good to try. The higher the protein value, the better for healing.
