Back on the lay

so it’s autumn here in Australia and most of my girls have been off the lay for a little while due to moulting.
I was getting desperate for eggs so I actually bought andz from Aldi last night .
Today we got 8 eggs including 1 from our new red splash Araucana “Quinny”.
Maybe they thought they would be replaced
