We appreciate the welcome. I've got French Toulouse goose eggs in the incubator. I understand geese are good lookouts for predators and tend to be shepherds of the flock. The characteristics of the Toulouse breed seem to be as good as any and we like their coloration.

Thank you too! It's going very well so far. They're growing amazingly fast on the high protein ducking feed we ordered for them. Didn't take us long to learn to keep the pine shavings in their brooder away from their watering trough. Even though they can only get their heads through the oval openings, they still manage to put a damper on everything they possibly can. Not complaining though. It's always delightful seeing how excited they get adding more water to their trough with a measuring cup they can jump in and out of during the process. That's what we call cheap entertainment! :drool
