Backyard Brahmas!!

I am not going to be a lot of help but, I am kind of leaning toward roo for both. They seem short on tail feathers and since I can't see #2's comb that is what I am basing most of my decision on. The top I am about 99% sure is a boy though.

Noooooo! My babies! This will sound ridiculous, but number one has just a 'red lump' for a comb and number two has the little dino bumps?

Just a guess "/ the lighter chick looks like a roo, but just a guess. Very cute :)

Nothing definitive. Someone stated that there can be various shadings in dark chicks, but they are still considered Darks. I'm marking them with leg bands so I can tell the color differences as they mature. I'll keep you updated :)

That's my guess too. You're very kind to say they're cute but they are definitely in their ugly stage....long gangly legs and sparse feathers.
I need a new roo for one of my flocks....maybe this little guy will be it. (Unless Sjisty wants to send me her beautiful blue Elmo.) Can you tell I have rooster envy? LOL

400

These two got caught in a rain shower so I used the blow drier on them, and now they think that whenever a towel is around they should snuggle in it and wait for the blow drier! Absolutely rotten!! LOL
