I work from sun up until after dark every day, 7 days a week. I figure if I own the land I need it to work for me. I so want a vacation but one must eat and pay a few bills. I love my farm and am glad to live here rather than the suburbs or city. I'll take the long hours and hard work any day.

My brooder room is so full but has been since last fall. I hatch a lot of chicks every week. But I sell a lot, too. I have about 6 grow up pens and am always moving chickens around when they are mature enough for breeding or the freezer.

Chickens are addictive!

This thread is pretty old. But I'm wondering if any of these are still around and if there are more than just Yeeessss few now.

I know of egg well farms in the upstate area, are there any other breeders around?
