I grew up with chickens at my grandparents' home and when we had kids we decide to get chickens a couple of years ago.
We currently have 3 chickens, and ISA Brown, an Australorp and a Plymouth Rock.
Some of my favorite things about chickens are just watching them play and explore the yar. They are a good hobby for the kids to learn about caring for animals and last but not least a good source of eggs. I also quite enjoy the hobby aspect of coop maintenance and things like that.
Some of my other hobbies are car maintenance and creating youtube videos to share of which you can see me feeding my girls here.
