Well Fay is bringing us a lot of rain, but it didn't seem too bad until today. I went out to feed up this morning and found 1 yellow gold male, one red gold male, 1 chucker, 1 ringneck male, and one silkie dead ! All were pretty wet. The pheasants were all in a large run together with some pigions and my lady A's. It has shade cloth on one side across the top and individual little huts for all of them aswell as a large igloo dog house that looks like a stump, a large plastic barrel that they like to hide in and other things they normally hide in. Well some reason these guys didn't i guess, and stood out in the rain all night or so. Most of the girls are fine and even the cortix and button quail are fine, as tiny as they are. The ringneck died as I was trying to bring him out of shock. I'm so sad...
Some days I wonder why I even try to keep birds.
