I too have a soft spot for the boys, I've had some really, really good ones. I've also had a few really bad ones. They are just doing what they are programmed by genetics to do, it's not their fault, but just because a tiger is a tiger, I'm not having one in my living room. I had one really, really aggressive roo early on, who also happened to be a very large brahama. He was probably 15 lbs. You could not turn your back on him for one second, and I usually had to carry a broomstick into the run, as well as make sure I had thick boots on. I was spurred, flogged, bitten, blood was drawn more than once. Nothing made him reconsider his behavior. No way was I keeping him. Not even going to tell you what he was "named" cause it wasn't nice at all. There is a reason that Lucifer is a common roo name. I don't keep boys that go after people, it's just a deal breaker for me. Just be careful, take nothing for granted, don't assume, and don't think only with your heart. Sometimes it's not worth it. Best of luck with him.
