Bad DH, BAD!!!! lol (PICS)

I'm just glad there isn't a place like TSC near me. That would be very dangerous!
From the 2 Poultry Swaps I've attended off island I've come back with birds.
At the first one I was looking for female runner ducks to satisfy my drake who had a "thing" for chickens, even though he had 2 ducks of his own. No ducks that time but I did get 2 charming mutt pullets, one of whom laid an egg on the way home.
At the second one I was looking for more pullets and/or runner girls. No standard pullets on offer that day. No runners either but I got a funny grey runner/something cross with a pom-pom on the side of her head.
Hey - when you spend a fortune on ferry fares, you can't return empty handed!
To my credit, I didn't get anything at the swap on our island, and managed to get rid of an egg eater, with full disclosure to a woman who takes unneeded/unwanted poultry. I "rescued" that girl, Hannah, a few years ago so it was someone else's turn.

Our next swap is in 3 weeks.
I'm scared.
Stay tuned ...

The Little one is doing better this morning than yesterday.

We haven't put our finger on it yet, but something is still a bit off with it. DH & I both noticed that it seems to have trouble seeing, thought maybe it was blind, but then again its seems fine other times. We'll keep watching it, maybe it's vision is just a bit off. I'll be moving them over into the bathtub for brooding in the next few days so I'll observe to see if it can find it's way around a new place. It's energy level is much better though it feels the cold more than the others and hangs out under the light more. I've had peeps like that & they just need a little extra watching & time. Love little ducklings!!!!
