Bad egg??

I know that, on occasion, there are chicken and duck eggs that start to be stinky and are still good. But I have one emu egg that is smelling pretty bad ... does it mean it is definitely no good? I hate to throw it out if it might still be good. :-/ This is my very first try at emu eggs and I am traumatized over this egg. :-( Suggestions? And yes, it definitely smells bad.

i would pull it.. when an emu egg STINKS (rotten egg smell) it's a bad egg.

I pulled it, took it outside and cracked it. Cleaned it well, and now I have a nice half shell and the pieces to make a hatching dragon ... or maybe I'll felt a hatching emu! Thanks for your advice. I am excited to see the rest of these hatch! Ang

It wasn't fertile. Just rotten slimy yolk and very stinky. :-(

if you don't have any hatching successes, look me up the next time you are down this way, I might have some extra chicks running around by then...
