I have 24 chickens and one rooster. I collect the eggs in the morning and evening. Some of the eggs have a red spot on the yoke. Are they bad eggs? Are they OK to eat? If this is a problem how do I stop it?

They are probably just meat or blood spots, from small blood vessels rupturing in the hen's ovary while she is making the eggs. There are various reasons for it, including heredity (strain of bird), vitamin deficiencies, birds being scared by something etc, ... link from The Poultry Site below goes into detail.... if it is only happening once in a while it is probably nothing to worry about, the eggs are fine to eat, just look unappetizing.
