My guineas, Cornish X, and injured chicks ( born with deformities ) are all on a 24% protien, same bag. Yesterday I was cleaning pens and checking feeders/waterers in the brooders. Only these three batches, and almost every chick / keet , has signs of pasty butt. And boy howdy it was NOT fun cleaning 30 little butts!
So, is it possible ( since I have several other batches of chicks NOT doing this ) that this isn't a fluke, and it's actually because of a possible bad batch of feed?
