Bad hydrometer?

Is anyone familiar with the yz-24a incubator? My hydrometer seems to be stuck on 69... insert jokes.... even when I add double what is needed. Even added a sponge full of water. It's been running for half a day and is going to be my hatching out incubator since it is missing a piece to turn my eggs. My usual hydrometer I used to use is missing of course. Will have to buy one tomorrow. Can anyone tell me if this means its completely broke, or did I do something wrong? My eggs dont go in til tomorrow night.

If I were you I'd pretend like that built in hydrometer and thermometer are both broken.
Buy new ones that you can out inside the bator and calibrate them both.

I found my usual one I put in here cause before I was unsure on it when I first got it. It tells humidity and temp and the temp is even off... I rarely use this incubator cause after I got it the lid doesnt even close all the way so I have to put something on it or duck tape it

One I use. Lowered the temp more. This one does have a temp that is 1 degree to high

If that hygrometer has been calibrated (by you) and you are sure of what it is telling you, your humidity is way too high. You probably know this already. Shoot for 35 - 40% for the first 18days. Instruments on incubators are usually wrong, sometimes very wrong so you are wise to get independent ones.
Are you using two incubators for your next hatch?

Oh yes I know that. That was right after putting it in. It's down to 74

This is the last 3 days not during the original 1-18 days. This is no more turning. I've hatched eggs at this on the last few days. Every site I found for hatching says 65-75 % for the actual hatching days

I understand it's just for hatching...to me it still seems high so I was wondering if you have had successful hatches with it this high in the past or if you have had problems. I am just curious.
