Bad limp in Silkie Hen

Shadows condition worsened very quickly and my fiancé and I decided it would be best to put this sweet girl down so she would not suffer any more than needed. I am very thankful for the generous people here who had kind helpful words to be there. Again, thank you<3

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mareks is a heart breaking disease. Now she's not suffering.you did what's best. I just wanted to say how sorry I am you had too go through this. God bless.

Hi Just wondering how did your chicken do? Did she get better? I just noticed a limp and right foot forward about 5 days ago on my silkie Mily (she is 6 months). She was walking better but today she almost does not want/can't step on her right foot... She had flies I noticed too. Got very skinny. Gave her a bath, and 2 days later a dust bath with 'seven' powder. I force feed her and ensure she is close to food and water. Not sure what else to do...I only have 2 silkies. The other one seems fine but also have her a bath and dusted her just in case as they sleep together.
