Bad looking feathers on my hen!

Hi everybody!

My hen has quite strange feathers, because they seem to end at halfway so it looks like her tail is a bunch of stalks! I wonder if she is moulting, because my other hen has already finished ages ago! Her feathers are showing no sign of growing back, so I wonder is this a disease of some sort?

She also has lost all her feathers on her thighs, which are now bare.

Chickens can molt at different times, that's pretty normal. I'm not sure about the thighs though, usually my chooks just lose their back and tail feathers. I just did a search for some old threads, and some things that came up were mites, or pecking. Apparently when the hen is molting she might pull out feathers to eat for extra protein.
