I have one of my reds that is not feeling well this morning. I may be at fault for her symptoms. I prepared a spicy mix of oregano, garlic, chili flakes, and parsley, and some sage leaf. I think it made her sick. All my other girls are unaffected by it. What can I do for her??

She's not as perky as usual. She doesn't want to drink, eat or walk. Poopy vent 🥴👎 17570082883707846381651418232803.jpg It's only been 4hrs since she woke up and came out to the run. When I went out I saw her just squatting down that's when I noticed her very lethargic. She's very hard to catch and I just reached down and picked her up. Very unusual.

Worms are best treated with a proven dewormer such as Valbazen or SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer. I can give a dosage. Herbs will not kill worms. Her comb looks pale. Has she ever started laying yet, or not? At 18 weeks, it might not be time yet. I would fell of her crop to see if it is empty and flat, full, firm, or squishy? Check it first thing in the morning to see if it has emptied overnight. Look her over for lice or mites under her vent, belly, and elsewhere on her skin. If you see any droppings, a picture might be good. Is her tail position up or down?

She has been laying already for about a month now. Just removed her from a soaking of warm water and Epson salt. No mites no crop issues feels empty and flat. She hasn't eaten anything yet. They all eat breakfast together 1st thing in the morning. She didn't 👀Poop is green and watery diarrhea.

Her crop was empty and flat at night? Before roosting? That's not good. Should be full before bed, empty in the morning. I don't think your "worm prevention" is the problem, otherwise as you say, all your chickens would be equally sick.

@Eggcessive what do you think about this green diarrhea? And empty crop?

OP, her beak looks odd to me, her top beak looks very short. Can she eat okay? Offer her some of her normal food but wet it down into a mash to make it easier for her to eat.

I would give her 300mg Calcium Citrate +D3 now, then once daily for a week.

See if she expels an egg.

Work on hydration and see that she's eating her normal feed.
