I have chrones disease as well. I found out when I was 23. I am now 35. The first 2 years was the worst. I have not had a flair in years now. "Knocking on wood!!!"
The first thing I did was to research it on the net. That was a mistake. I read horror story afer horror story and went into a depression. I thought the world was going to be over soon for me. I was wrong. I now eat pretty much what ever I want but I do shy away from dairy, peanuts, salad and a few other foods.
I have not been fortunate enough to have anyone to talk to about this disease except my Dr. My Dr was awesome. She had a child with chrones. She woudl sit and talk to me about anything. She gave me her home number and I would call her at home if I had any problems. She move to Maine. I almost cried.
If you need anyone to talk to please let me know. I wish I had someone when I was having soo many problems.
