Bad news with dewormer

Many people administer this. It wouldn't be my choice. But thats personal. I try to avoid as much poisons and medicines as possible in gardening, for my chickens and for my family. Unapproved medicines are a no-go for me.
I imagine your soil is cool or cold most of the year, correct? That's not very conducive for worms, so you dont have to worry about it.

Those companies producing chicken dont live long for meat processing, no need to worm them. Commercial egg producing hens are gone by year 2 and their feet never touch the ground, no need to worm them.
That's fair. My point was just that using something off label as an individual isnt a big deal, but would be for a company.

It it was for chickens it should say how long you have to wait before eating the eggs.
Its not allowed in poultry industry where I live.
It is approved for poultry where we live.

What did the Safeguard say to do?
The label on the bottle is for goats. For the chicken dose, you must look it up in veterinary forumarlies. If you use the dose for goats that is written on the bottle you will be under-dosing your fowl.

I agree. Companies have no need to worm birds or treat sick birds with antibiotics or treat birds for injuries etc...
They are simply culled or "disposed of."
