Bad news

Well I had my first hatch of the year end yesterday had 2 out of 16 hatch very disappointed. I have 3 more hatches coming up starting this weekend I need to get my stuff together a little better busted open 2 eggs last night had one that did not make and the other had a little feather ball in it. I had good temp and humidity not sure what went wrong.

First of all, congrats on your hatch!!!
How was your temp and humidity during hatch? Were you using shipped eggs or your own? Maybe we can help, lots of smart guys and gals around these parts!

Sometimes it just happens.

Last year I hardly lost an egg and this year I would be embarrassed to tell you my hatch rate.

Chin up though! The next hatches could be great

I'm so sorry to hear that.

I know I never have good luck with shipped eggs if yours were shipped. But you did get 2 and that's better then one. What a time you can have if only one hatchs. Keep trying and remember to keep the bator away from draffs. I know thats one thing that happened to me.
