Bad Syfy Movies?

Hehehe ... someone else remembers FrankenFish! Also saw the 1980 Flash Gordon mentioned upthread ... that one isn't a *bad* movie!! Hubby bought it for me on dvd the other year. I'm surprised no one mentioned Ice Pirates. I had to venture onto Evil-Bay to find the dvd for that ... now I have to guard that dvd from being incessantly borrowed. As for Labyrinth being the best Henson movie from the 80s ... oof. Please don't make me choose between Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal!

But SciFi has been doing good series and bad movies for so long ... floating around this house is a VHS copy of PumpkinHead: Blood Wings as proof!
 
I really don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet because I haven't had time to read through all the responses, but have you watched Mystery Science Theatre 3000? I LOVE that show! The comments they make about old movies are hilarious! I think they are on netflix. Now I'm in the mood to watch them!
 
MST3K introduced me to tons of bad movies, my fave of those were Prince of Space, Girl with the Golden Boots, Squirm and the Horrors of Spider Island. One of the worst I saw on SyFy a while back was Dagon (2001 version). I don't think it was a SyFy production, they just aired it. Truly terrible.

And one of the worst horror movies I've ever laughed all the way through was Dead Snow. Here is the blurb about it from IMDB:

"A ski vacation turns horrific for a group of medical students, as they find themselves confronted by an unimaginable menace: Nazi zombies."

Can they pack anymore cheesy 80's horror movie requisites into it?

Dd says PIRHANA-CONDA is coming out this weekend.

Super-duper cheese movie I just suffered through (and recent movie too) BIRDEMIC. Watch it and tell me that is not the worst movie ever. I think it beats killer tomato.
