Hi everyone, greetings from Sydney Australia.

In September we bought 4, 16 week old Isa Browns, all of whom are very well and happy and we started getting eggs at the end of October. Unfortunately, we've only ever had 3 eggs a day, and have managed to identify one hen as never laying. Is it possible she's just a bit slow, or does she need treatment?

I'd very much appreciate your help. Of course, we're in mid summer now so it's not because she's cold!

Some hens are just really slow to get going and some never lay at all, but those are the exception. I hope your hen will get going and lay you an egg soon!

! Great to have you here! I agree with sumi - she may just be a low starter. Give her a little more time and she if she comes around. Good luck to you!

Thanks all posters for the welcome, and for your advice. I thought she might be a late developer. Meanwhile, as I said, she seems perfectly well and happy with her mates which is the important thing.
