I just found all of your replies. Thanks for all the help. Though its kinda late now a little follow up: The chicken lived and healed on her own, there wasn't enough skin to pull together but she just grew some new skin under the scab, I just had to keep the wound clean. I am sure yall have all moved on by now but maybe this will give hope to someone else with a wounded chicken.

I am here and read your post. I too have a very very wounded dog bit chicken and she is in recovery.
