Bag balm??

My chickens have started pecking each other and drew blood, has anyone tried bag balm???? It is on my Light Brahma and they are picking on my others also. Also one was picked severely that I don't know if she will make it am nursing her back to health I hope????

I like to use a gob of vasaline but I imagine bag balw would work the same...one bite of that would make me think twice!

I've used Vicks on just about every animal we have. the camphor makes wounds heal faster, and tastes awful.

I don't know what is in vicks, but would think that might be more of a deterrent. You can also buy No-Pick from a poultry supply, but it didn't do much for mine. One of mine likes the taste of bag balm.
