Chili does sound good today. I have never had white chili, but have heard of it. Someday I am gonna look up a recipe for that and give it a try.

I think I started seeing Christmas decorations as soon as Halloween was over.......It does seem a bit soon. I'm ready for it today though. I'm getting a bonus at work, and I have a laptop on lay-a-way at Walmart, so I'm picking that up this weekend. It's for my son Joe. He's a senior in high school and just a fantastic kid! That'll be a good gift to send him off to college with......

We don't have much money, but I like to make the family happy.......

Still though, what am I doing thinking about Christmas! I've got Thanksgiving dinner to cook next week! And I'm NOT the best cook......

When I got married I could make chili and spaghetti. I'm doing a little better these days. Kinda. Oh, I just darn near broke my little finger trying to make pancakes. It got snagged in the spice rack. It's still numb. I have chronicles of injuries I've incurred in the kitchen, a few of them resulting in ER trips to get sewn up. It really is best if hubby cooks. Besides, I'd rather make soap.
