I have a bald hen, but she is not molting. I suppose the rooster did it. The problem is she does not seem to be growing her feathers back. I tried a saddle, but I think that actually made it worse. Has anyone out there tried the "feather fixer" feeds? Can you feed that to a laying hen and still eat the eggs? My local feed store does not even carry it, so I can't get info from them. I tried going on line to the neutrena site. They are not responding to my question, so I thought I would try here. Any body have this problem?
Thanks

I don't think they will grow back until she molts.

I'm pretty sure a feather fixer feed should not require an egg withdrawal......an all flock feed with higher protein will help the feather growers too, just offer oyster and egg shells on the side.
