Bald neck on chickens

So I have a 4 bird flock of bantam chickens. When got 2 then another 2 12 months later. They didn't settle well at first but are all best of friends now. Only problem is 3 of them now have bald necks on the back. At first it was just the new 2 and it was from pecking we nipped that in the but straight away and the feathers came back but now 3 of them have baldness and I don't know what it could be. The same three are currently also broody. The fourth that wanders around on her own doesn't have any baldness and sleeps on her own at night also so I know it's not pecking (she was the culprit originally) can any one help?

how many roosters? he could be over breeding them with will cause neck feather and back feather loss.

Photos of them and an idea of your location in the world might help.... if you are in the southern hemisphere and they are over a year old then it may be moulting. Neck moults are quite common with their first adult moult.

We are in the UK
The oldest are 2 yrs and the younger ones are approx 10 months
No roosters all 4 are hens

That looks like a pecking issue if you are sure you don't have a cockerel, but that is a common site for mating damage and certainly not a location that they can pluck themselves.

Are you sure that they are in fact broody and not hiding out in the nest boxes away from the bully.

Definitely broody any way to stop the pecking as it must be at night as I never see it happen

Checked on them this morning and they are now bald the whole way around the neck so could it be a molt?
