Bald necks

A little while ago I noticed a bald spot on my chickens neck and then another chicken had a bald spot a week later. Now almost every chicken has a bald spot only on the neck. Im not sure if it's mites because the baldness is just on the neck and they dust themselves daily.

If it's on the front of the neck, just under their beaks, some do that to themselves. If they lay, chickens like to decorate their nests while they sit, I noticed. They also throw bedding or whatever they have to lay on their backs. Feathers are a thing of beauty to them.

These chickens are 6 years old and they have never done that before also I don't see any feathers in the nesting box I will post some pictures to give you an idea of what the bald spot looks like.

Don't know what it is. But it looks like it's sore and has been itched or something. Should take her in.

We don't have and chicken vets that I know of I have a buddy in Indiana that is a large animal vet I will ask him and send pics.
