My nine hens all act healthy and keep laying well but they have bald patches that do not seem to be regrowing feathers in a way that seems like molting. I have tried DE, supplements in their food, spraying an over the counter anti-microbial spray but nothing seems to work. No rooster. No apparent pecking. Any ideas please? Thank you.

Treat them for lice/mites.
You can find permethrin based poultry spray or dust at TSC. Treat the birds and their housing in 7 day intervals.

Feathers that are shaggy like that and have intact feather follicles won't be replaced until they molt.
The bare bottoms is usually due to picking/plucking. Likely done while roosting. Those will feather back in when they molt as well.

Dusted hens and cleaned coop and run. Same next week. Hopefully, mites and lice will be gone!

Did you inspect the birds and find mites/lice or their egg clusters?

What did you dust them with?

DE is not effective in treating active infestations.
