Some meanie has pecked all the feathers off the top of one of my poor Polish chicks.
The Polish chicks are larger than the rest but far more submissive.
I will probably put the Polish in a cage next to the others for now.

What do I do with the bald spot?
Should I put an ointment on it or just leave it?

But, yeah, the skin is not raw. I'm not too concerned.
Just feel real bad for the poor thing.

I used to raise Diamond Doves years ago and those vicious little ^&^%'s would pick the poor hens' heads bloody! Who ever named doves "the bird of peace" has never watched their mating practices!

My silkie chick picked the top crest off one of mine when I first got them. I put them in a bigger cage and she stopped doing it. It was red,but grew back right away in a couple of weeks she was completely grown in.

My hens pecked the top of my Polish rooster's head bald. They would not leave him alone, no matter what I did. He turned out to be a mean son of a gun, and we don't have him anymore. But I was never able to stop the pecking.

Okay, I just noticed that you have 16 German Shepherds!

You must be a breeder cuz no one in their right mind would own SIXTEEN Shepherds (German or otherwise) at one time!

. . . Or . . . um maybe you're not in your right mind???
