Bald red butt???

Hi!! This is my bald butt chicken. She is not the only one with a bald butt, but she is the only one with a red bald butt. It looks a little swollen and is warm and squishy to the touch. There is some feather picking going on, but not a whole lot. I can not see any mites or other bugs. What could be causing this and any suggestions on helping her feathers grow back???? Thanks!!

That is most likely feather picking, which is usually caused by lack of space/boredom, or insufficient protein. If it's an established habit, it can be very hard to break. Mites/lice can be haard to see. I'll give you a couple of links; hope they help.
