Bald silkie chicks

I have 3 baby silkies about three weeks old. My white one is feathering up nicely but my two black ones have bald spots all over like they lost the fluff to fast and the feathers haven't had a chance to start growing. I've never seen chicks do this before and its my first time raising silkies. Is this normal for them or is there a chance that they got mites.

It is normal for this to happen, in a few days the feathers will start to grow in and sooner or later you will have fuzzy birds.

Oh good! I've been raising chicks for awhile but it my first silkies. I was afraid we had done something wrong.
