I have 10 chickens. 8 Rhode Island Red's and 2 Black Sex Links. I bought them from Tractor Supply in December of 2016. For the last few months, the reds have been loosing feather color. Currently they are 1/3-1/2 white. The Black Sex Link's color seems to have faded a little. All ten of them have bald spots in different places of their bod. Mostly in the chest area, but some in the back, tail side etc. I haven't saw any feathers all over like they are molting.

I have always fed them the same thing, Rural King brand layer pellets, with an occasional treat of cracked corn. I give them oyster shells and grit as a free choice. I also pick handfuls of grass and throw in there about once a week or so. This has been consistent since they moved to the big pen at around 5 months. We do occasionally give them table scraps (water melon, potatoes, etc), but that is very rare.

I don't see any sign of outside varmints or predators. Egg production has not changed, we average about 9 eggs/day. Although we have gotten three "fart" eggs in the last two months.

I am getting worried about my ladies. Any thoughts or ideas?

The reds could be sex links. They would get more white over time. Otherwise this time of year feathers are getting old, faded and ratty. I'm assuming you are in the northern hemisphere? The fall molt is just a few months off. Feathers should get replaced than with fresh new ones.
