Nope it was a small chick feeder that didn't tighten down enough and they knocked it over and one of them got inside to eat the food but couldn't get out for lack of room to turn around. I fixed that problem with a small rabbit feeder. It makes it harder for them to waste it too since it's just low enough for them to reach it.Buttercup --a simple remedy for your birds getting into the feeder ----I'm assuming that it is the round , open top gravity flow feeder . If so just cut the bottom out of a gallon bleach jug and slide the dome part over the feeder .They will slide right off . I also use them on my one gallon waterers to keep chicks from perching on top of the waterer .
