I've read everything I can find so far about them and see everything from they are great to being outright just mean. I guess I'll soon find out.

Mine are mean I had to rehome one because she went on a killing spree trying to kill everyone, including me.

This should provide my wife some good entertainment if ours turn out like that. They are "her" chickens but I'm already seeing signs that my job will be the head chicken wrangler around here.
