I have another frizzle and had to help the second black silkie out. It was sticking to the shell. Oddly, both silkies pipped toward the center of the shell. They're both kind of big, so I wonder if their size didn't have to do with it.

It's a real conehead! Bama baby 2 is still in the incubator recovering from being stuck to the shell. I'll post when it's up and about.

Wow what a nice coneheaded chick. Should turn out to be a very nice silkie. It takes a few days when shell gets stuck for them to look fluffy and pretty.

Bama baby 2...check out the feathering on those feet! It looks like a hobbit! It's a solid straight line of feathers right down the middle toes.
