Bamboo Pirch too slippery

you could put glue over it and cover it with sand for a bit of grip. I don't think it would be a problem though, maybe chicks would fall off but... they're chicks lol still learning!
My girls can climb trees with really smooth trunks/branches.

the breeds are in my signature, the worst for is Milly and Ebony. Ebony took it too far that day and ended up in the neighbours yard with their dogs...

The jump up on the bench we have in the garden, then grab with their beaks and scramble with their legs and yeah.... lol they get up there, I've had to get the ladder out to get Ebony before, Milly is smart enough to come when she's called! lol

wow I wonder what the sand is doing to the feet.

Anything that causes an abrasion on the foot will allow staph germs to enter and set up a bumblefoot infection, so roosts should not be rough.
