1 month old chicks can we feed them banana?

Most consider banana to be the same as citrus and dont feed it, My girls usually wont touch banana.

I feed it as a treat only. Regard as a source for carbohydrates which chickens handle well. Chicks will still be hankering more protein to drive growth.
